Unsurprisingly, this episode contains loads of Brit-centric cycling stories from the Road World Championships. From Cav’s superb victory, to a brilliant bronze from Scotland’s Andy Fenn in the U23. Read the excellent blog post by our good friend OwenP, charting the career of Andy Fenn so far.
Not content with such success in the World Championships, we talk about the unprecedented sight of 2 Brits on the podium in a Grand Tour, as Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins take 2nd & 3rd in the Vuelta.
Gary has been doing his homework and brings us the ins and outs of the UCI World Tour and we look back on the recent Tour of Britain, photos of which can be found on Graham’s Flickr page.
Finally, breaking free of our jingoistic chains, we get a bit depressed about the future of Mountain Biking as we discuss the UCI’s decision to axe Four Cross from the World Cup schedule and the bizarre tie-up between the UCI and the sponsor which no-one has heard of, Rocky Roads – a decision that, quite frankly, takes the biscuit.

Thanks for mentioning my piece on Andy Fenn. I actually had another one in the pipeline, and have published it, spurred on by your interest. Big things for Fenn in 2012, who is joining Quick Step for 2012

No worries, Owen – it was a good piece. I really didn’t know anything about Andy Fenn but he has a pretty great record as a junior so, yeah, here’s hoping for great things in 2012.
